| Eligibility :
Admission to MBA program requires a bachelor's degree from any Indian or Foreign University Students whose results of bachelor degree examination are awaited can also appear in MAT/JEMAT but their admission will be finalized after publication of result of bachelor degree examination. |

| Selection Procedure |
|
| An admission form is provided to students with admission brochure, which should be submitted to the college authority with enclosures as directed there in. Final selection would be based on marks in MAT, JEMAT coupled with GD/PI. |
|
| Purpose of GD/PI is to assess the candidate's team functional skills, general awareness, subject knowledge and English communication skills, which expose his/her total aptitude to enter management studies as a suitable career. The candidate has to qualify either All India Management Association conducted MAT exam or West Bengal University of Technology conducted JEMAT exam for admission to MBA program, professionally qualified candidates like CA, ICWA, CS as well BE/B.Tech are inspired to ride fast track career attaining MBA by appearing in MAT/JAT for qualifying marks. |
| Concession Details |
- Students having MAT Score 500 to 599 will be getting 5% and 600 and above will be getting 10% concession on Tuition Fee.
- Students of SKS Group of Institution B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BHM and 10+2 Schools, i.e SKS Public School and DPS who are taking admission in higher courses will be getting 10% concession on tution fee.
- Own brother and sister of existing students of SKSgi will get 10% Concession on tuition fee if they take admission in SKS Group of Institutions.
In case of students eligible for more than one scheme, he / she may be considered for only one scheme where benefit is maximum.
- 1st, 2nd 3rd Topper (based on YGPA of yearly University Exam) of each college will be honored on the foundation Day of BCET.

| Requirements for Admission |

- JEMAT Offer Letter given during counseling
- JEMAT/MAT Rank Card
- Admit Card of JEMAT/MAT in original
- Attested Xerox copies of marks sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination and HS or equivalent examination.
- Proof of date of birth (e.g. attested copy of Madhyamik Admit card, etc.)
- Migration certificate, if already registered at any university other than West Bengal University of Technology.
- Five Stamp size colour photographs.
- Medical fitness and eye-examination certificates in the prescribed form.
- Filled-in-Application Form for admission.
- Demand Draft of amount as indicated under Fee structure (Plus Hostel charges, if applying for hostel accommodation) drawn in favour of "Durgapur Institute of Management & Science" payable at Durgapur.
